SHAMPOO+BODY

THE SHAMPOO+BODY BAR

This is our all-around soap. It's the one we use most often, and we use it all over. Never used a solid shampoo before? Check out our blog post on the subject.

OLIVE OIL
Olive Oil is deeply hydrating without clogging your pores, or stripping your skin of its natural oils. It contains healing Vitamins K and Squalene, which help to plump, soften, and hydrate your skin. It's also high in Omega 3 and Polyphenols, which have anti-aging properties. It is naturally antibacterial and gentle on your skin, all while protecting it and helping to balance moisture levels.

COCONUT OIL
Coconut Oil is a fantastic cleanser, and provides a creamy, luxurious lather even in hard water. It is naturally antimicrobial, and acts as an antibacterial shield by protecting your skin from potential pathogens. In addition, it assists in the production of collagen, which helps reduce wrinkles.

SUNFLOWER OIL
Sunflower Oil is a powerhouse. It has naturally calming properties which improve your skin's capacity for moisture retention. It's extremely high in Vitamin E, which is an antioxidant that helps protect skin cells from harmful UV rays. Rich in bioavailable fatty acids including Linoleic and Omega 6, it's incredible for dry skin, as it helps to lower inflammation, as well as regenerate and hydrate cells. It is also loaded with Beta-Carotene, which is essential for maintaining a healthy glow.

CASTOR OIL
Castor Oil is a humectant, meaning it literally attracts moisture to your skin. It is highly concentrated in fatty acids, helps remove dry patches and restore hydration. Thanks to a little thing called Ricinoleic Acid, it even fights off acne-causing bacteria. Being high in Omega 3 fatty acids, it also promotes growth of new collagen and elastin, which reduces dark spots and pigmentation, and helps heal inflamed skin.

MOROCCAN RED CLAY
This gorgeous clay has been used for healthy skin and hair since the 8th century. It has been shown to draw out impurities, and reduce excess oil. It’s a very mineral-rich clay, high in iron oxide which is extremely beneficial for problematic skin, as it can help to draw out blackheads and even out blemishes. There are studies which have found this clay to even be helpful in increasing skin elasticity, due to its high magnesium and silica content.

After a thorough search all across North America, Col found it to be the finest, softest and smoothest sand in the country. She literally examined it under a microscope to make sure of that. You can safely exfoliate your skin, and be confident it's not causing any micro abrasions.

AVOCADO OIL
Avocado oil is a real powerhouse when it comes to benefiting your skin. It’s absolutely loaded with Omega-3 fatty acids, as well as vitamins A, D, and E. It also contains potassium and lecithin, and all these rich nutrients are easily absorbed by our skin. Since it’s packed with antioxidants, it has an anti-inflammatory effect and help heal any dry, irritated skin associated with eczema and psoriasis. A 2013 study found that the essential fatty acids and oleic acid it contains can encourage the synthesis of collagen (creating new connective tissue!).

SHEA BUTTER
Shea Butter is super moisturizing, anti-inflammatory, and helps protect your skin's natural oils from being stripped away. Complex fatty acids nourish, soften, and strengthen your skin. It contains Vitamins A, E, and F, which are essential to the production of collagen.

KAOLIN CLAY
Kaolin Clay gently exfoliates, while normalizing and soothing sensitive skin. It stimulates circulation, which improves healing and nourishment. Because of its ability to soak up unwanted, excess oils, it helps combat acne and blackheads. It has naturally occurring disinfectant properties, which help heal existing blemishes, and prevent new ones from forming.

COMFREY LEAF
Comfrey leaf has been prized by herbalists for centuries for its skin-healing properties. The word Comfrey actually means “to grow together.” It’s very high in Allantoin, which accelerates skin healing, promotes the growth of new skin cells, is anti-inflammatory, and sensitive skin friendly.

THE SHAVE BAR

THE SHAVE BAR

This bar and a good razor are the only products we ever use to shave. As long as we use this instead of any creams, we never cut ourselves. A great shaving product has nothing to do with intense lather, and everything to do with how easily a razor can glide over your skin. That's why we make our Shave Bar with 100% Olive Oil. Thanks to the recipe we created, this soap is also perfect for babies and anyone with severely dry skin.

It can even help reduce pain and inflammation from insect bites, scrapes and cuts by absorbing infection. An extremely gentle exfoliant, it helps reduce itchiness and irritated skin.
